Car Seat Check
Car crashes are the leading cause of death for children ages 1 through 13. Sadly, research shows many deaths or serious injuries could be prevented with the proper use and installation of car seats. According to the U.S. Department of Transportation’s National Highway Traffic Safety Administration almost half of all care seats are installed incorrectly.
Idaho Falls Community Hospital is proud to offer free car seat safety checks for families in our region. To schedule a car seat check, please call 208.528.1625. Appointments are available Monday through Friday.
During your appointment, one of our car seat technicians will evaluate your car seat for proper installation, fit and recall status. You will need to bring your car seat with you to your appointment and the car which you want the car seat installed. Please bring your little one with you, if possible, so we can help make sure the car seat is adjusted to their exact size.
