Idaho Falls Community Hospital is accepting all ambulance traffic. Our team has been and will continue to be here for patients who need our care.

Idaho Falls Community Hospital wants to remind our patients billing is on hold during this time. In order to give our patients plenty of time to pay their bills, our team will move due dates back when we resume normal billing operations. There will be no late fees or interest added to bills and no accounts will be sent to collections due to a lack of payment. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

We are excited to share all of our partner clinics and Mountain View Hospital’s partner clinics are back open and caring for patients. Redicare reopened for the community on Sunday.

Our team has continued working diligently to address the recent cybersecurity incident at our hospital and clinics. While there is more work to be done, we want to share with you the progress we have made. With the help of some of the nation’s top cybersecurity experts we are getting closer to bringing the departments across all of our facilities to full operational capacity. While we cannot provide a definitive timeline yet, we want the community to know we are working as quickly and safely as possible.
We are working directly with EMS to accept ambulances at Idaho Falls Community Hospital on a case-by-case basis.
We want to thank our community for your support and understanding. It has made a world of difference to our team. We know some of you have reached out to us with questions about billing. Please know, billing is on hold as we continue to navigate this incident. There will be no penalty for late payments.
We also want to thank our team for all of their hard work and commitment to our patients during this time. The community’s well-being has always remained our top priority.

Our team, working with some of the nation’s top cybersecurity experts, is continuing to make steady progress recovering from the cybersecurity incident we recently identified. We want to share that due to the hard work of our team, Idaho Falls Community Hospital is able to accept patient transfers from neighboring hospitals to our ICU, pediatric and intermediate care floors. We are working as quickly and safely as possible to bring all our departments to full operational capacity.
Our teams throughout the hospital and partner clinics continue to provide patients the treatment they need. We are so thankful for their hard work and dedication to our community.

Idaho Falls Community Hospital and our partner clinics want to assure the community we remain open and are here for patients who need our care. Over the weekend, a team of leading cybersecurity experts furthered their ongoing work to understand the scope of the incident, and we are continuing to work diligently to bring our systems back online as quickly and as safely as possible. We appreciate our community’s patience and support, and will continue to provide more updates to this page as they become available.

Idaho Falls Community Hospital and our partner clinics recently identified a cybersecurity incident on our IT systems. As soon as it was detected, we proactively took our systems offline to ensure the stability and security of our IT environment, notified law enforcement, and launched an investigation with the help of cybersecurity experts. Our team is working around the clock to understand the extent and scope of the incident and bring our systems back online.
Our commitment to our community’s well-being remains our top priority. We are safely caring for all our patients in the hospital, our emergency department remains open, surgeries are continuing as scheduled and our clinics are still providing the treatment patients need. We’ve had to adjust some of our operations to deal with the situation at hand but, because we regularly prepare for situations like this, we’ve continued to care for our patients throughout this incident.

We are actively working to bring all systems back online as quickly as possible to minimize the disruption. We are also looking for opportunities to further enhance our existing security measures through our investigation.

Mountain View Hospital, Idaho Falls Community Hospital and their partner clinics are still working to fully recover from a cyberattack that took place earlier in the week.
Our commitment to our patients’ well-being continues to remain our top priority. Both hospitals remain open and are safely caring for all their patients and the vast majority of clinics are seeing patients as usual.
If you have an appointment that needs to be rescheduled, your provider will reach out to you directly. If you do not hear from one of our team members, your appointment has not been impacted. Please plan on attending your appointment as scheduled.

Mountain View Hospital, Idaho Falls Community Hospital and their partner clinics are working diligently to recover from a cyberattack on the computer systems that took place Monday morning. Fortunately, the IT team identified the threat quickly and took immediate action to limit the impacts of the attack.
Our teams are taking the necessary steps to resolve the situation. Until we feel confident the virus has been fully removed, some clinics will be closed, Idaho Falls Community Hospital will divert ambulances to nearby hospitals and normal workflows may look a little different. Patients will be contacted by their provider if their appointments are impacted.
Our commitment to our patients’ well-being remains our top priority. We are safely caring for all of the patients in our hospitals, surgeries are continuing as scheduled, our emergency department remains open, and a majority of our clinics are seeing patients as usual.
