Visitor Policy Update

Members of the Idaho Falls Community Hospital Covid Committee have approved the following updates to our visitor and mask policies:

Visitor Policy

• 2 visitors 14 years and older will be allowed to visit non Covid patients
• Visitors 13 years and younger will be allowed to visit non-Covid patients for a maximum of 15 minutes
• Visitors will continue to be screened and will need to sign the Visitor Policy
• Visitors will not be required to wear wrist bands going forward

Mask Policy

To protect our patients that are immune compromised we will continue to require staff and visitors to wear a mask while on campus or in a patient care area.

Beyond the hospital campus, masks are still required for patients, visitors, and staff in Idaho Falls Community Hospital and all Mountain View Hospital affiliated entities.
